Tuesday 2 May 2006 - Hey, guess what? It's the third update in a row where I'm too lazy to move the previous entries to a new page. Oh, well... I guess I'm just lazy like that.

What to say? It's the end of the year, and everything is about to change radically. Next year, I'll be the President of my Hall Senate. Kara and Sarah are moving into an apartment off campus. Other people who live around here are moving off campus. I'll be in teaching classes (hopefully)--I took my PPST, and I'm on my way to completing the other entrance requirements for the Teachers College. Biggest of all, Rachel is going to college. Everything is going to change, and I'm trying to keep up.

But for now, my focus is finals week and getting to Rachel's Prom. Finals have been okay so far... but I've only had one, in Structure of English. I'm working on my Diverse Learners take-home. I was lucky enough to get arrangements to take the test on my own schedule, since I'm hitting the road tomorrow afternoon before 4:00, I hope.

So, here's what I have left to do: finish my Diverse Learners final, get a speech & hearing screening, go donate some blood, go to a "party" for work tonight, get to my remaining final on Wednesday on time, keep packing up my room and stuff for my trip, label the big stuff that's staying here so that the custodians don't steal it, and... well, that's about enough listing. I've realized that my updates have become pretty formulaic, lately. I don't mean to, but having a few high points to run through are nice. On the other hand, most of the stuff I mention isn't high points, only the same points. I'll work on that.

The summer looms ahead. There's a lot going on there, too. I'll get to that later. For now, I have a final in about half an hour, and a tricky schedule today. Plus things to finish, you know? No rest for the weary.

Everybody out there, take care. I've been thinking about all the great people I know, lately... As much as I know things will change next year, I hope that I can keep in touch with everybody. On that note, I'm out.
