So, how about this website, huh? Quite a piece of work. But where does it all come from? The answer: Luckily it comes from Tripod, because I don't know a lick of HTML. But seriously, I'm indebted to Tripod for this point and click stuff. It lets me do such wonderful things, and bring them to my adoring... fan?
But who am I, you might ask? Well, if you're not one of the few people that know me personally, read on... I'm an eighteen-year-old guy living in semi-rural Iowa. A town of 26,000, give or take; It isn't exactly the big city.
I am a new high school graduate, as of this spring of 2004. I look forward to college at the University of Northern Iowa. UNI, the Amazing Platonic Machine is on his way! Listen up friends, neighbors, and malefactors. This is the world according to Jon, right here and now:
- It occurs to me that it's rather backwards to spend so much time working to make money, when a person only uses all that money to find ways to do things faster in their remaining spare time. Maybe if we all quit working for other people, and started to work for ourselves, we'd slow down enough to live longer?
- I figure everyone has the capacity to become closer to their ideal selves if they stop and think really hard about what they're doing as they do it.
